Paseo Esteban Huertas
A bougainvillea-covered promenade on top of the old sea wall, with views of the bay and skyline.
This walkway runs along the top of the old sea wall next to Plaza de Francia. A long arbour of bougainvillea shades the path, and the open stretches look across the Bay of Panama to the modern skyline, with ships often waiting offshore to enter the canal.
Artisans sell crafts along the promenade, including the colourful molas made by Guna women. It's one of the most photographed spots in Casco Viejo, especially in the late afternoon.
